Andrew Logan Beck

Andrew Logan "Andy" Beck, 23, of Norvelt, passed away Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022, at Excela Health Frick Hospital. He was born Feb. 16, 1998, in Punxsutawney, the son of Sheri Jo Miller, of Norvelt, and Mark L. Beck, of Punxsutawney. He was a social worker at Achieva Support and EMT for Kecksburg EMS. He also volunteered for the Westmoreland Homestead (Norvelt) Volunteer Fire Department and Westmoreland County Rough Terrain Team 211, and he was also a social member of North Irwin, Norvelt, and Kecksburg Volunteer Firemen's Social Clubs. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Paul and Nora (Lorraine) Beck; his maternal grandparents, Logan and Vicki Miller; and his aunt, Beth McClelland. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his aunt, Stacey Miller, of North Carolina; his uncle, Jonathan (Corin) Miller, of North Carolina; his uncle, Scott McClelland, of Reynoldsville; and his fur babies, Copper, Fur and Trauma. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022, and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31, 2022, at the Norvelt Volunteer Fire Department, 2325 Mt Pleasant Road, Norvelt, PA 15674, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022, with Pastor Keith Deckinger, of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Donegal. A Fire Department/EMS service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the Fire Department. Interment will be private. JAY A.
