Andrew John Gera

Andrew John Gera, 84, of Mutual, passed away Monday, Feb. 14, 2022, at H. John Heinz III Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Pittsburgh. He was born July 21, 1937, in Mutual, to the late Andrew and Anna (Novak) Gera. He was a graduate of Greensburg High School and California University of Pennsylvania. He served his country as a member of the Army. He was a member of St. Florian Parish, United; the Disabled American Veterans; Mutual Fireman's Club; and the United Slovak Social Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Marie Yurick and her husband, Richard, and a brother, John Gera and his wife, Dorothy. He is survived by a sister, Dorothy Mizikar (Eugene), and brothers, Joseph and Jerome Gera. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. As per his wishes, there will be no public visitations.
