Anna L. (Kirik) Heide, 82, of Norvelt, passed away August 24, 2014 at her home, with her family by her side. Born February 27, 1932 in Trauger, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Kozora) Kirik. She was a member of St. Florian Catholic Church, United and former member of Forty Martyrs Church, Trauger In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Carissa Ann Thomas, siblings; Elizabeth (Louis) Scekeres, John Kirik, Mary (Paul) Spisak, Helen (Bob) Harr, and Mike (Mary Lou) Kirik. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Thomas Heide; children, Diane Patterson of United, David (Sue) Heide of Trauger, Linda (Angelo) DaBiero of South Lyon, MI; grandchildren Brian Thomas, Scott Bando, Michael Bando, Joshua (Vicki) Heide, Jessica Heide, Lindsay Shaffer; two great grandchildren, Chloie and Isabella Heide; brother in law Walter (Karen) Heide, sister in law, Mary Kirik, plus several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, 2245 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Norvelt. 15674. Transfer prayers will be 9:10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Florian Church with Rev. John A. Sedlak as celebrant. Interment to follow in Forty Martyrs Cemetery, Trauger. A vigil service will be held Tuesday at 3:15 p.m. in the funeral home.
