Barry L. Stinebiser, 79, of New Stanton, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Westmoreland Hospital. Born September 3, 1935 in Hunker, he was a son of the late Leo and Mary Katherine (Dancer) Stinebiser. Prior to retirement, Barry was a customer service manager for Menasha Packaging, Yukon. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Youngwood. Barry was a member of the Hecla Sportsman Club, and his favorite pastime was woodworking, mainly making clocks and then giving them away. In addition to his parents, Barry was preceded in death by his brothers, Leo Stinebiser, Jr., and Carl Stinebiser. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Ann (Grega) Stinebiser, and his loving son, Mark Stinebiser, of Melcroft; Siblings, Jerald Stinebiser, Janet Stinebiser, Charlene (Bill) Hart, Linda Bright, Rich (Francine) Stinebiser, Sister-in-Law Lois Stinebiser, Brothers-in-law George (MaryAnn) Grega, Steve Grega, and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME 2245 MT. PLEASANT RD., NOVELT, PA 15674. His Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 PM Monday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Youngwood, with Rev. William McGuirk celebrant. Interment to follow at Visitation Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant.
