Boyd Lee Freeman

Boyd L. “Bud” Freeman, 84, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday February 6, 2022. Born October 15, 1937 in Greensburg, he was the son of the late William and Dorothy (Bennett) Freeman. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Helen V. Freeman and brother Harry A. Freeman. Boyd is survived by his 2 children, Robin (Ken) Snyder of Acme and Allen (Joyce) Freeman, of Acme, grandchildren; Chad (Christina) Snyder of Mt. Pleasant, Aaron Snyder of Acme, Keith (Katie) Freeman of Acme, Kevin Freeman of Acme; four great-grandchildren, Joel, Eli, Westin, Daisy, brother; Jim Freeman of Greensburg, Sister Sarah (Ray) Shaffer of S.C, sister-in-law Ada Freeman of White, Pa. and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a member of Mt. Zion Community Church, Acme. Family and friends will be received in the Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home, Norvelt, Thursday February 10, 2022 6-8 P.M and Friday 10-11 A.M., his funeral service will be Friday 11 A.M, in the funeral home with Rev. Paul Haasz officiating. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Kecksburg.
