Bryce F. LeJeune, 58, of Mt. Pleasant Township, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 27, 2014 at his home. Born May 20, 1956 in Babylon, NY, he was a son of Charlotte (Kidston) LeJeune of Mt. Pleasant Twp. and the late George LeJeune. He attended Charter Oak Methodist Church, Greensburg. Bryce was an insurance agent with BP Insurance Agency, Ligonier and previously had been an executive chef for many years including owner and operator of the Roosevelt Room, Norvelt. His hobbies and passions included hunting, camping, fishing, shooting and horseback riding. Bryce loved animals and was a founder and president of the "Second Chance Equine Association". In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Christina (Turney) LeJeune, his step-son Larry Skoloda and his wife Jennifer; two granddaughters Brianna and Haley Skoloda; two brothers, Neil (Sharon) LeJeune of Greensburg, and their two children Jacob and Mara, Jeffrey (Nancy) LeJeune of Mt. Pleasant Twp., and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Charter Oak United Methodist Church, 449 Frye Farm Rd., Greensburg with Rev. Chris Whitehead officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions in honor of Bryce may be made to Second Chance Equine Association, Box 193, Norvelt, PA 15674.
