Catherine D. Cibulas 87 of Norvelt passed away Monday November 12, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. She was born April 25, 1931 a daughter of the late Andrew and Veronica Kissell. She was a member of St. Florian’s Catholic Church, United. Catherine was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Edward in March of 2017, and the following brothers and sisters Mary Polcha, Margret Muchoney, Ann Yasher, Sophia Brinker, Andrew Kissell, Bill Kissell, Vern Morris, Helen Nader and Evelyn Luckage. She was the youngest of 10 siblings and the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Edward Cibulas and the following children David of Sarasota Florida, Mark of Dunedin Florida, Matt of New Port Richey Florida, Annette Juliano of Mt. Pleasant, and Charlotte Willochell of Gibsonia and their spouses. Catherine was a wonderful and loving grandmother to 7 grandchildren Christina, Marcos, Catherine, Amy, Kayla, Hanna and Adam. She is also survived by her in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 6-8pm in the Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home Norvelt. Vigil prayers will be 7:45pm Friday in the funeral home. Transfer prayers will be 9:10am Saturday in the funeral home. Her funeral mass will be 10am Saturday in St. Florian Catholic Church with Reverend John A. Sedlak as celebrant. Interment to follow in St. Florian Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Excela Health Team and Senior Helpers for their loving care of Catherine.
