Catherine A Gales-Galley beloved wife, mother, daughter – age 55 of Jeannette PA passed away unexpectedly in her sleep the morning of Sunday January 7th 2024. She was born 10-04-1968 in Florida to Audrey and the late Wesley B Gales.
She graduated in 1986 from Hempfield High School.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn R and father Wesley B Gales. She is survived by her husband, and life partner of more than 15 years, Dwight Galley, a beautiful daughter Charlene (known as Charlie), mother Audrey J Gales (Stefl) and sister in law Monica – many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Let’s not forget about her furry family Buddy, Lucky, and Zola.
Cathy was an accountant by trade and enjoyed working many places, especially in the last
multiple years for Advanced Fire Company and NEP. She was a billing coordinator for NEP and had just started the past year.
Cathy enjoyed many things growing up, such as softball in high school. She enjoyed going camping with her husband and pets, cooking, collecting teddy bears, as well as her many memorable tattoos and piercings.
The one thing she loved the most was the game of darts. She was well known in the dart world. After a lot of hard work, traveling to different states to compete and bring the
money home, she was able to turn pro. In November, she qualified to go to Chicago for the 38th anniversary world championship bullshooter tournament for this upcoming year. She was invited to go, but since she can no longer attend, her name will be recognized for years to come.
She will be missed by many.
