Catherine Stolitca, 87, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away peacefully at Brookdale Latrobe on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. She was born in New Castle on Feb. 22, 1930, the daughter of the late Michael and Catherine Hrebik Flack. She was the wife of the late Michael Stolitca. Catherine is survived by her six children, Michael (Michelle), of Connellsville; Joseph (Shelly), of Latrobe; Steven Sr. (Maryann), of Acme; David (Marie), of Greensburg; Timothy (Gina), of Cincinnati; and Lewis (Lori), of Mt. Pleasant. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Michael Jr. (whom she raised), Jason, Dillon, Alexis Austraw, Kristine Simonik, Steve Jr., Stefanie Jodzis, Adrienne and Audrey; and four great-grandchildren, Avery, Briaunna, Austin and Dekota. She is also survived by her brother, Joe Flack, of Latrobe. Catherine was a member of St. Michael's Antiochian Orthodox Church, Greensburg. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, Norvelt. A trisagion service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Michael's Antiochian Orthodox Church, Greensburg. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
