Clifford E. Daniels

Clifford E. Daniels, 71 of Mt. Pleasant Twp. passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014 with family by his side. Born June 20, 1943, in Mt. Pleasant, he was a son of the late Chester A. and Sara Belle (Sarver) Daniels. Prior to retirement, he was a heavy equipment operator in the coal industry. Cliff was a life member of Hecla Sportsman's, Hecla V.F.D., United Club, and Possum Hollow Gun Club. He was also a member of Amvets Post 94, United. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Bobby Lee Daniels. Cliff was the loving husband of 44 years to Bonnie L. (Hood) Daniels, loving father to Clifford E. Daniels Jr. and his wife Amber and loving grandfather to Samantha and Jacob and survived by his buddy Ziggy. Also surviving is one brother Donald A. Daniels, two sisters Betty (Ron) Frye, Nancy Dodd and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received 3-6 p.m. Tuesday in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, 2245 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Norvelt, 15674 where his service will begin at 6 p.m. with Pastor Roger D. Roadman officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
