Don R. Green, 90, born in Mt. Pleasant Township November 27, 1927. He was the son of the late Dewey and Annabel Reed Green. Don was a graduate from Hurst high school class of 1945. He is survived by Ernest (Ernie) Brown, Sister JoAnne, step sister Carol Leshock, his beloved canine D.G., and numerous nieces nephews and cousins. Don had a beautiful baritone voice, and was a member of the Mendelson Choir in Pittsburgh. He was also a 50 year member of the Scottdale Chorale. Over the years he sang for many weddings and special events. Prior to his illness he had been in rehearsal for Christmas Eve this past year. He loved the outdoors especially growing flowers. Don had been employed by Jeanette Glass and Treasure Editions where he was a talented artist with painting and decorating glass, his specialty. His funeral arrangements were in the care of the Jay A. Hoffer funeral home. All services were private.
