Dorothy E. Stahl, of Acme, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2024, at RNC Greensburg. Born on January 30, 1924, in Jones Mills, she lived a full and vibrant life of 100 years.
Dorothy was an active member of the Fairview Church of God for over 70 years, where she found great joy and spiritual fulfillment. Her love for gardening and mowing the grass was well-known among her family and friends, and she enjoyed hosting family dinners, creating a warm and welcoming environment for all who gathered at her table.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Stahl, her daughter, Myrna Freeman, and her four sisters and two brothers.
Dorothy's legacy lives on through her surviving family: her son, Ron (Arlene) Stahl; her grandchildren, Tracey Freeman (Mindy), Ronald Keith Stahl (Mary), and Jennifer Chambers (Stacey); her great-grandchildren, Brandon Clark (Jayden) and Nicole Ostrosky (PJ); her great-great-granddaughter, Lainey; and her great-step grandsons, Stacey, Austyn, and Jaydan; her son-in-law, Bob Freeman.
Per Dorothy's wishes, all services will be private. The Hoffer Wilt Funeral Home in Norvelt has been entrusted with the arrangements. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful staff at the Latrobe Hospital and RNC Greensburg for their exceptional care and support.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fairview Church of God, 2197 Route 982, Mt. Pleasant, PA 15666, in memory of Dorothy E. Stahl. Her spirit will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
