Edward J. Cibulas Jr. 64, of Homer City passed away Wednesday March 8, 2017. Born December 29, 1952. He was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Coral PA, and was a previous member of St. Florian Catholic Church. Edward served in the US Air Force and was stationed in Fairbanks Alaska. Prior to his retirement he was employed at Torrance State Hospital. He is survived by his parents Edward Sr. and Catherine Kissell Cibulas, a loving brother to David of Sarasota FL, Mark of Dunedin FL, Matt of Newport Richey, FL, Anette Juliano of Mt. Pleasant and Charlotte Willochell of Gibsonia, loving uncle to seven nieces and nephews who he adored; Christina, Marcos, Catherine, Amy, Kayla, Hanna and Adam. Ed is also survived by brothers in law, sister in law, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends will be received Sunday 2-5pm at the Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home 2245 Mt. Pleasant Rd, Norvelt, PA. The vigil service will begin 4:45pm in the funeral home.  His funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am Monday at St. Florian’s Church, United with Reverend John A. Sedlak as celebrant. Transfer prayers will begin at 9:15am in the funeral home.  Interment to follow in St. Florian cemetery with military rites accorded by Armbrust Veteran Association.
