Edward R. Polcha

Edward R. Polcha, 73 of Southwest(Hecla)passed away Friday March 25, 2016 at Excela Health Westmoreland. He was born February 1, 1943 in Greensburg, the son of the late Edward E. and Elizabeth Hutria Polcha. He was a retired helicopter mechanic with Helicopter Aviation Services at Scottdale Airport. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Scottdale, the Hecla Sportsmen’s club and Laurel Highland Model Airplane club. He is survived by his wife Linda Barclay Polcha, three sons Ronald E. and Jason S. at home, and Mark A. of Hartford Connecticut. Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Jay. A Hoffer Funeral Home 2245 Mt. Pleasant Road, Norvelt Pa. Funeral service will be held at 11a.m. in the funeral home with Reverend Daniel Clark officiating. Interment will follow in the Middle Churches Cemetery.
