Eleanor Elaine Cerkovnik 93 of Norvelt passed away Sunday October 27, 2019. Born May 17, 1926 daughter of the late George and Anna Ferencuk Cerkovnik. Elaine was a graduate of Hurst High School in 1945. Prior to retirement she worked at Westinghouse in Youngwood. She is a veteran of the United States Air Force. Family and Friends will be recieved Friday 4-8pm in the Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home, Norvelt. Vigil prayers will be 5pm in the funeral home Friday. Transfer prayers will be 9:15am in the funeral home Saturday followed by her funeral mass at 10am in St. Florian Catholic Church with Reverend John A. Sedlak as celebrant. She will be laid to rest in Hillview Cemetery.
