Elizabeth "Betty" Brinker, 92 of Brinkerton, passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 in St. Anne Home, Greensburg with family by her side. Born February 16, 1923 in Bovard, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Vidrich) Yomnick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son Drew Anthony, a son Robert Brinker, brothers Edward and Frank Yomnick, sister Emma Pryor and two infant sisters. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Trauger and their Mary Martha Fellowship. Betty was the loving wife of 68 years to Robert J. Brinker, loving mother to daughter Sandra Specht and her husband David of Weltytown and son Keith Brinker and wife Charlene of Jacksonville, FL; loving grandmother to Sarah (Gabe) Kinneer, Daniel (Kim) Specht, Jason Brinker and Justin Brinker; great grandchildren Gabby, Darren and Elizabeth. Also surviving are sisters Dorothy Carr, Sally Plevich, Dolores (Lou) Sabers and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, 2245 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Norvelt, 15674. Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday in St Paul's United Church of Christ with Rev. Richard L. Seigfried officiating.
