Elizabeth Mayernik, 92 of Greensburg passed away November 9, 2017. Born December 12, 1924 she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Plata Rusinko. Prior to retirement she was an office clerk at Sears. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband Joseph Mayernik, brother John Rusinko, and sister Bertha Zelenak. She is survived by three daughters; Romayne Hunter of Greensburg, Constance A. Burick and Jordan of Laplata, Maryland, and Janis Wooley and Fred of Somerset PA, sister Mary Catherine Ross of Mt. Pleasant, eight grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces nephews and friends. Family and friends will be received Sunday 2-4 and 6-8pm Sunday November 12, 2017 at the Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home, Norvelt. A blessing service will be at 11am in the funeral home Monday. She will be laid to rest in St. Mary Byzantine cemetery, Trauger.
