Our beautiful loving Mother Evelyn Wilson Miller 94, of Laurelville went to be with our Lord Monday June 12, 2017. Born October 7, 1922 in Mammoth Pa. Daughter of the late Charles E. and Josephine E. Heide Wilson. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Earl ‘Bud’ Miller, her daughter Delores, and husband Marshall Prinkey, son Earl William Miller, and her three sisters, Catherine Rosensteel, Ruth Hirak, and Irene Wilson and two brothers Charles and William Wilson. She is survived by her son James Miller and wife Connie, her daughters Nancy Gowton, Carol Daniels, and Linda Wolfe, son John Miller, and wife Cheryl, daughters Barbara and Debra Miller and fiancée Tom. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren; and four sisters Edna Terhorst, Betty Kemp, Shirley Queer, and Violet Quashnock. Evelyn was a member of the Mt. Joy Church of the Brethren for many years. She faithfully read her bible daily and also hoped that all who had passed would happily be together in heaven. She enjoyed reading her Amish books, crocheting, and being with her grandchildren. Family and friends will be received Thursday 6-8pm and Friday 3-5pm and 7-9pm in the Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home, Norvelt. Her funeral service will be Saturday at the Mt. Joy Church of the Brethren Route 31 Mount Pleasant, 11 am Saturday. Please go directly to the church. She will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery, Kecksburg.
