Gloria led a life filled with dedication and service. She earned her bachelor's degree in education at 64 years old from California University and shared her knowledge and passion for learning as a teacher at Mt Zion Christian Academy. Additionally, she was the proud business owner of Alling Job Printers.
Gloria's interests extended beyond her professional endeavors. She was actively involved in the Disabled Veterans Association (DAV) and devoted her time to volunteering at the VA hospital. Her commitment to faith was evident through her long-standing role as a Sunday school teacher at Norvelt Union Church.
Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, L.A. and Pearl (Murray) Leeper, her first husband Lawrence Alling, and her second husband Paul, and siblings Richard B. Leeper and Twilah Flack.
Gloria will be dearly missed by her surviving family, including her daughters Colleen Alling Radebaugh (Rick) and Ruth Alling Eicher Graft (the late Don), as well as her grandchildren Kimberly (Bob), Lily, Letha (Ted), Lacey (Jon), Rocky, and Matthew (Samantha). She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Lindsey (Alan), Nicole (Matt), Cecelia, Tallulah, Tristan and her great-great-granddaughter Sophie. Her brother Fran Leeper also cherishes her memory as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Gloria Mae Alling Williams leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and kindness that will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Family and friends will be received on TUESDAY from 2-6pm, with a 6pm service led by Pastor David L. Greer at HOFFER WILT FUNERAL HOME (formerly Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home), Norvelt. Family burial to take place privately.
