Gloria F. Shafer

Gloria F. (Frund) Shafer, 77, of Bullskin Township, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Born August 11, 1937 in Norvelt, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Dunn) Frund. She was a member of Paradise United Methodist Church, Bullskin, where she played the piano for over a decade. Prior to her retirement, Gloria was a seamstress and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Cameron, Zane, Larry, and Barry Frund. Gloria was the last remaining member of her family. She will greatly be missed by her husband, Charles L. Shafer, children Vicki Shafer, of Washington, PA, and Reed (Denise) Shafer, of Bullskin, and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 2- 8 pm Friday and 10 -11 AM Saturday in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME 2245 MT.
