Helen Klosky

Helen “Babe” Klosky 88 of Mutual, died peacefully January 22, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving husband Chuck and family members. Born December 6, 1928 in Mutual where she was raised and had attended the Mutual one Room schoolhouse. She was the daughter of the late Adam and Anna Miscovich Lawrence. Helen was married to her husband Charles for 65 years at St. Florian's Church. She was a member of St. Florian’s Church. Prior to her retirement, Helen owned and operated Helen’s Beauty Salon in Mutual. Helen had an ever dearing love for animals. In the past she has raised 2 adorable sheep named Baby and Leader and enjoyed the company of four dogs. She adored her favorite cat “Kitty”. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings Ann Mott, George Lawrence Sr., Elizabeth Sofranko, and Mary Mizenko. Helen is survived by her one brother, Joseph A. Lawrence and his wife Joan. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and friends. Family and Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home 2245 Mt. Pleasant Rd, Norvelt, PA. The vigil service will begin 8:45pm in the funeral home. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 11am at St. Florians Church with Reverend John A. Sedlak as celebrant. Transfer prayers will begin at 10:15am in the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at St. Florian Cemetery, Trauger.
