Helen Paul Rylander 88 of Mt. Pleasant passed away Sunday December 16, 2018. Born June 26, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Helen Brennan Boyd. Helen was a member of St. Florian Catholic Daughters. She enjoyed being with her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her children James, Michael and Mary Helen Rylander. She is survived by her husband Charles Rylander, children Lewis (Kim) Rylander, Paul (Justine) Rylander, Kathleen Sarniak-Tanzola, Helen (Mario) Venzin, Kimberly Rylander, David (JoyceAnne) Rylander, Bethanie Hack, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received Wednesday December 19, 2018 from 2-4 ad 6-8pm in the Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home, Norvelt. Vigil prayers will be 7:45pm Wednesday in the funeral home. Transfer prayers will be 9:15 am in the funeral home Thursday followed by her funeral mass at 10 am in St. Florian Catholic Church with Reverend John A. Sedlak as celebrant. Interment to follow in St. Florian Cemetery, Trauger. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital or American Cancer Society.
