Janet B. Nicotera

Janet B. Nicotera, 69, of Acme passed away Sunday December 20, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born April 7, 1946 in Braddock, PA, Janet was the daughter of Stephen and Margaret Scabinsky Kotvas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Miranda Ritenour. She is survived by her husband Salvatore Nicotera; daughters Wendy (Ron) Kronk of Calumet, Sally (Keith) Shawley of Mt. Pleasant, and Stacey Nicotera of Acme, son, Salvatore F. (Kim) Nicotera;; and grandchildren Cody and Kelsey Kronk, Luke and Lexi Nicotera, and Kade Shawley. Family and friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday with a funeral service at 8 pm in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, 2245 Mt. Pleasant Road, Norvelt, PA 15674.
