John Chambers Andrews

November 30, 1939 — August 13, 2015

John Chamber Andrews, 74, of Norvelt passed away peacefully on Thursday August 13, 2015 in the company of his loving family. He was born November 13, 1940 in Latrobe, a son of the late John “Bussy” Andrews and Margaret Waterhouse. Prior to retirement he worked in the foundry at Robertshaw. He stayed active through the years working as an electrician, but he will be best remembered as a beloved local Country and Western Entertainer. Johnny was an active and supporting member of numerous social clubs in the area. He will forever be remembered in the hearts of those who knew him and especially his family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beautiful Grandmother, Grace Andrews and Sister’s, Bonnie Lawford and Marigale Dailey. He is survived by Wife, Christina, Brother, Allen Andrews, Children, Jill (Bellush), David, Janet (Wilson), John Jr. and Julia Andrews, Grandchildren, Johnny Machesky, Jordan and Eddie Bellush, Davin Andrews and Kellie Wilson. Nieces and Nephews Tom, Mindy, Jonnie, Cathy, Danny & David. Family and friends will be received 2 to 8 P.M. Monday in the Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home 2245 Mt. Pleasant Road, Norvelt 15674. His funeral Service will be 11 A.M. Tuesday in the funeral Home with Reverend David L. Greer officiating. Interment will follow at Middle Churches Cemetery Mt Pleasant. Following the funeral, guest will be welcomed at the Hecla Sportsman’s Club.
