John Paul Dzuban, 89, of Norvelt, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, John S and Anna (Bindis) Dzuban; and sister, Margaret (Dzuban) Ungvarsky. John is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Florence (Komarny) Dzuban; and their six children, Carol (Elliot) Weinstock, Vickie (Robert) Scott, Nancy Ream, John (Kathleen) Dzuban, Kris (Scott) Carnivale and David (Carrie) Dzuban. He was Grandpap (Murph) to 11 grandchildren, Lauren (Chris) Rivera, Matthew (Megan) Weinstock, Jacqueline (Dan) Bartosh, Michael (Lisa) Weinstock, Allison Weinstock, Mark, Eric and Kate Carnivale, Brian, Rachel and Adam Dzuban; and five great-grandchildren, Kelten and Hayden Rivera, Teddy and Lily Weinstock and Colin Bartosh. John worked at Fisher Body in Dravosburg until his retirement in 1993. He was a treasured father, grandfather, uncle and friend. John enjoyed traveling, sports and being with his family. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21, at JAY HOFFER FUNERAL HOME in Norvelt. Mass of Christian burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Florian Parish, United, Pa., with the Rev. Bryan Summers officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Cardiac Rehab, Westmoreland Frick Hospital Foundation, 532 West Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601.
