Joyce E. Komlenic

Joyce E. Komlenic age 64 of Mt Pleasant Township passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, after a long illness on Friday, October 23, 2015. Born December 16 1950 in Mt. Pleasant, she was the daughter of Evelyn Johnson Overly of Mt. Pleasant Township and the late John R. Overly. In addition to her mother she was the loving wife of Joseph Komlenic , a loving mother to her 3 children Jennifer Lape and her husband Joseph of Mt. Pleasant, Christopher Komlenic and his wife Melanie of Bellefonte, Jaime Pugh and her husband Jeffrey of State College and the loving grandmother to her granddaughter Josie Pugh. Joyce is also survived by 3 sisters Darlene Shaffer and her husband Robert of Norvelt and Linda Baric and her husband Richard of Greensburg , Charma Falk formerly of Acme and Joyce’s dog, “Copper”. Also she is survived by Numerous nieces and nephews. Family and Friends will be received Monday 6-8 P.M., Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. in the Jay a Hoffer Funeral Home 2245 Mt. Pleasant Road, Norvelt 15674 ‘ where her funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. with the Reverend Dr. Dale L. Porterfield officiating. Interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery, Kecksburg. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Joyce’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
