Kenneth Wayne Fox, age 76, of Mt. Pleasant Township, passed away with family by his side on June 2, 2024. He was born April 2, 1948, a son of the late Floyd and Mary Jane (Terry) Fox.
He served in the US Army for 8 years as a SP5 during the Vietnam War Era, demonstrating his dedication to his country.
Prior to retirement, Ken worked 14 years as a custodian at the Westmoreland County Community College.
Kenneth was known for his passion for fishing, often embarking on fishing trips with his friends to enjoy the great outdoors and the thrill of the catch. His love for travel allowed him to explore new places and cultures, enriching his life with diverse experiences. Additionally, he found joy in playing cards, engaging in friendly competition and camaraderie with others.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Von, Ray, Walter Fox and sister, Mildred McVey.
He is survived by his wife Joyce (Habera) Fox, his son Jason (Allison) Fox, their children Ryan, Adam and Aiko, his daughter Cindy (Jim) Wojnar, their children Bailee (Nate), Cameron and Nolan and a great-granddaughter Lainey.
Family will receive friends on WEDNESDAY at the HOFFER WILT FUNERAL HOME from 2-4 and 6 until the time of a Blessing Service at 8pm.
A private burial will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
