Marty Fearer, 57, of Mount Pleasant, passed away peacefully on Friday April 7, 2017 at her home in the care of her loving family.

She was born June 11, 1959 in Greensburg.  Marty was a member of Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church in Trauger.  She lived to love her family and friends with a contagious spirit.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Hile. Marty is survived by her mother, Jeannette “Mac” Hile; Jim Fearer husband of 32 years; daughter, Lauren Fearer; son, Joe Fearer; sister, Nancy Hile; and brother Bob Hile.

Family and friends will be received 6-9pm Sunday April 9 and 2-4pm & 6-8pm Monday April 10 at Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home in Norvelt, PA.  All are invited to attend a funeral service at 11am on Tuesday April 11, 2017 at Saint Paul Lutheran Church in Trauger, PA with her Pastor Mark A. Werner officiating. Interment to follow in St. Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Marty wishes that contributions be made to Saint Paul Lutheran Church or Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children in memory of Stephanie Read (Attn: Jillian Pritts 201 North Bellfield Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15213).
