Marian Kristofeck Schake 72, of Norvelt passed away Thursday February 16, 2017. Born July 19, 1944, daughter of the late William Victor and Anna Nock Kristofeck. She was the beloved wife to Ronald of 53 years, loving mom of Robert Schake of Norvelt, Joyce Novotny and  fiancé Jeff Clark of Latrobe, Debra Rullo and husband Daniel of New Alexandria, and Cynthia Hart and husband Courtney of Philadelphia,  she was adored by her loving 6 grandkids Jacob Novotny, Julia Novotny, Cordell Hart, Cianah Hart, Caleb Rullo, and Kenzi Rullo, sister and best friend to her brother William V. Jr. and wife Mary Norton Kristofeck of Louisville KY, nieces and nephews Mary Kristofeck (Todd), Ann Kristofeck (Howard), Theresa Kristofeck, William Kristofeck III, Michael Kristofeck, Elizabeth Kristofeck (McCombs), and sister in law of John Schake and family and Mark and Maryann Schake and family. She was a retired postmaster of United. Marian had a strong passion for ceramics, arts, crafts and a devoted Elvis fan. Family and friends will be received in the Jay A Hoffer funeral home Sunday 2-4 and 6-8pm. The vigil service will begin 7:45pm Sunday in the funeral home. Her funeral service will begin 11am in the funeral home with Reverend John A. Sedlak officiating.
