Marion H. Ritenour

Marion H. Ritenour, 72, of Hecla, formerly of Jeannette, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 13, 2014 surrounded by loving family. Born May 9, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Pauline (Porter) Gnieski. Marion was a loving Mother, Gram, and Nana. Taking care of her family was her career and she will always be loved, remembered, and missed. Marion was an avid sports fan and especially loved playing Bingo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers Joseph and James Gnieski and a sister Pauline Victoria Speelman. Marion is survived by her children Anita Neal of Jeannette, Tina Loughner and husband Richard of West Newton, James Ritenour and wife Michele of Penn, Tammie Ritenour and her fiancee Austin Daniels of Hecla; four grandchildren Pauline, Brandy, Michael and Robert; one great grandchild Abigail and several nieces and nephews. At her request, all services will be private and in the care of JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, Norvelt. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marion's honor may be made to Cancer Research or the Humane Society of you choice.
