Mary Ann Davis

Mary Ann (Harouse) Davis, 78, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015. Born February 8, 1937 in Calumet, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary (Stoker) Harouse. Mary Ann was a Graduate of Hurst High School, Class of 1955. On October 14, 1961 Mary Ann married her love, Edmund G. Davis at St. Mary's Byzantine Church, Trauger. She had been employed at Westinghouse Electric in Youngwood prior to her career as a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Sue Davis, and siblings Nicholas, Robert, and John Harouse, as well as an infant brother. She will be loved and missed by her husband, Edmund, children Jennifer (Eric) Suroviec of Erie, Christopher Davis and Jessica Davis, of Mt. Pleasant, siblings, Bernadine Fanelli of Jeannette, Thomas Harouse of Waco, TX, Evelyn Gillott of Woodale, and many nieces and nephews. Family and Friends will received 7 – 9 PM Monday and 2 – 4 and 7- 9 pm Tuesday in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME 2245 MT. PLEASANT RD., NORVELT, 15674. Her Funeral Liturgy will be 10 AM Wednesday at ST. Mary's Byzantine Church, 4480 Rt. 981, Latrobe, 15650, with Rev. Paul Alexander Schutt, OSB, celebrant. The Parastas will be 7:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home. The Panachida will be 9:15 AM Wednesday in the funeral home.
