Nancy J. Polanofsky “MAM”, 79 of Mt. Pleasant passed away August 16, 2017 at Eicher’s Family Care surrounded by her loving family. Born January 20, 1938 she was the daughter of the late Weldon E. and Alice Jones. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband Gary L. Polanofsky, and brother Ed Jones.  Nancy is survived by her 4 children, Cindy (Fitz) Prinkey, Sandy (Jeff) Swartz, Carol Pawlikowski (Pat Moore) and Gary (Kelli) Polanofsky, 7 grandchildren Tina (Paul)  Whetzel, Molly (Dave) Aliyetti, Lynn Wisniewski, Jeff (Marisa) Swartz, Bill Pawlikowski, Brad Pawlikowski and Krista Polanofsky, 5 great grandchildren and 2 sisters Sally Painter and Linda Boytim. Her arrangements are in the care of the Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home, Norvelt. The family would like to thank everyone at Eicher’s Family Care and Amedysis Hospice for the loving care they gave her.
