Neil Daniel Verosko, 37 died suddenly at his Greensburg home on Monday, February 16, 2015. Neil was a dedicated member of Our Lady of Grace parish where his involvements included the St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank, the Christ Life program, and his much beloved Lenten Fish fries. Neil was also a volunteer at Christian Layman, Greensburg, sharing his time several days a week. His true passion had always been the golf course, not as a player, but as an Assistant Superintendent, mowing treating and irrigating his beloved greens. He left friends who remember him fondly in Philadelphia, New York and here at home. Neil had the proud distinction of having earned the distinguished honor of Eagle Scout which served him well throughout his brief but full life. Neil will be missed every moment of every day by his mother, Michelle Libby of Greensburg, his father Greg Verosky of Cleveland and his sister, Jessica Verosko of Boston as well as scores of others who had the pleasure of knowing him. He now rests in God's peace. Family and friends will be received 4-8 p.m. Friday in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, 2245 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Norvelt, 15674. Prayer service will be 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home followed his funeral mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.
