Norma Jean (Kwak) Landy, 82, of Bullskin Twp. passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015 in Latrobe Hospital. Born October 29, 1932 in Mammoth, she was a daughter of the late John and Charlotte (Wilson) Kwak. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Robert D. Landy Jr., sisters Betty Ray, Audrey Greenawalt, Frances Hoza, Verna Chappell and brothers John, Frank and Richard Kwak. Norma was a devout Christian and attended St. Michael of the Valley Episcopal Church, Rector. She was a proud homemaker dedicated to her family. Norma is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Robert D. Landy; loving mother to Timothy Lee Landy of Mt. Pleasant, Scott D. (Leanna) Landy of Acme, loving grandmother to Angeline Landy of Mt. Pleasant and Scott D. Landy II of Greensburg and great granddaughter Camryn Landy. Also surviving are siblings Ray (Charlotte) Kwak, Dorothy Beveridge both of Mt. Pleasant and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Thursday in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, 2245 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Norvelt, PA 15674 where her funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday with Rev. Jeffrey Smead officiating. Interment to follow in Greenlick Cemetery, Bullskin Twp.
