Paul E. Domasky Sr., 87, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020. He was born Nov. 15, 1933, in Greensburg, a son of the late Frank and Jane Evangeline (Spare) Domasky. Prior to retirement, he had been an employee of the United States Post Office. He was a Korean War veteran, having served in the Navy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice H. (Chernesky) Domasky; six brothers, Clayton, Robert, Wesley, David, Charles and Carl; and his sister, Betty Lou. He is survived by his special companion and best friend, Kathy Chappell; daughter, Denise A. Palladino and husband, John, of Jeannette; sons, Paul E. Domasky Jr. and wife, Beverly, of Pittsburgh, Peter P. Domasky and wife, Dorothy, of Sparta, N.J., and Perry F. Domasky and wife, Vivian, of Greensburg; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard Domasky (Sharon), of Greensburg; two sisters, Alice Morris, of Greensburg, and Margie Lazor (Robert), of Mt. Pleasant; and many nieces and nephews. Paul "Pap" was a true man of learning and nature. He will always be remembered for his "if you don't know something, ask" approach to problem solving and for the family Sunday hike in the woods with "raisins and chocolates." Pap was fond of planting "anything" just to see what would grow, mushroom hunting, fishing and feeding all his animal friends. Friends and family will be invited to a cookout in Pap's honor, when restrictions are lifted. Paul is in the care of JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, Norvelt. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Paul's name to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation, c/o PNC Bank, P.O. Box 535240, Pittsburgh, PA 15253-9926.
