~~Paul Wallbaum 51, of Mt. Pleasant passed away unexpectedly on Feb 20, 2017. Paul was employed as a truck driver for oil and gas. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother uncle and especially excited to be a “pappy”. Paul was preceded in death by his brother Kevin and his father John Wallbaum. He is survived by his wife Deann and his children JJ and wife Natasha of Armbrust, Breanna and Raven of Mt. Pleasant and his beloved grandson Grayson. Paul is survived by his mom Melva (Ralph) Dimatteo, his sister Pam Wallbaum, his brother Zane (Kristen) Lakin of Monessen. He was a beloved brother in law to Marci and Wes Albright, Brad Hayes, Rhonda Hayes, and Dean (Marci) Hayes also numerous nieces and nephews he adored.  Family and friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, 2245 Mt. Pleasant Road, Norvelt. His funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the St. Paul Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Mark A Werner officiating.
