Peter A. DiBiase, 89, of Brinkerton, formerly of Greensburg, passed away Sunday January 25, 2015 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. Born March 2, 1925, he was the son of the late Vincent and Mary (Sposito) DiBiase. Peter was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in WWII with the 15th Tank Battalion and earning a Silver Star, a Purple Heart, and an Oak Leaf Cluster. Prior to retirement, he worked in the automotive industry. His past times were all perfectly self-taught; woodworking, painting, photography, computer and guitar. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna, and his Grandson, Chad. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Evelyn I. (Milby) DiBiase, a son Ray (Judi) DiBiase of Plum, and a daughter Darlene DiBiase, grandchildren Jason (Cary) DiBiase of Plum, Brandon DiBiase and Jenna Golik of Natrona Heights; great-grandchildren, Sarah, Rachel, and Anthony Family and Friends will be received 10:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, 2245 MT. PLEASANT RD. NORVELT, 15674, at which time his funeral service will begin with his nephew, Pastor Raymond Beards officiating. Interment to follow at Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Twp, with full military rites. Military honors will be accorded by Armbrust Veterans Association in the funeral home at 1:00 P.M.
