Raymond W. Myslewski 75 of Mt. Pleasant Township passed away Sunday November 26, 2017. Born August 6, 1942, he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen Myslewski of Norvelt. Prior to retirement he worked for Latrobe Steel. After retirement he worked as a golf caddy at Laurel Valley Golf Course in Ligonier for 12 years. Raymond was a member of St. Florian Catholic Church and Hecla Sportsman’s Club. He was a graduate of Hurst High School in 1961. Raymond was also a veteran of the Air Force from 1962-1965. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by stepmother Frances Shea Myslewski. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carolyn Sossa Myslewski. Raymond was a loving father to Susan Myslewski of Latrobe. He is also survived by brother Donald Myslewski and wife Marian of Irwin, brother Larry Myslewski of Washington DC, nephew Daniel Myslewski and wife Lee Anne of Virginia, cousin Jeffrey W. Burzawa Esq. and wife Fay of Greensburg , Aunt Janine Burzawa of Greensburg, brother in law Ed Sossa and wife Margie of Ruffsdale and also his good buddy JoJo. Family and friends will be received 4-7pm Wednesday November 29 2017 in the Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home. A vigil service will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 5:30pm. His memorial service will be Thursday at 11am in the funeral home with Reverend John A.
