Robert A. Stricklett

Robert A. Stricklett, 87, of Greensburg, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015. Born February 15, 1928 in Glen Echo, MD, he was the son of the late Schubert A. and Mable (Pearson) Stricklett. Robert was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during WWII and Korea. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth Lamoureux and Florence Stricklett. He is survived by a sister, Kathleen Roth, of Norvelt, plus nieces and nephews. Family and Friends will be received from 9 - 11 AM Wednesday in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, 2245 MT. PLEASANT RD, NORVELT, 15674, where his service will begin at 11 AM with Rev. Mark A. Werner, officiating. Interment to follow at Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg. The American Legion Post 446 Honor Guard will pay respect to the fallen veteran with accolades so justly deserved, 10:45 AM Wednesday in the funeral home.
