Sara Porterfield Yothers Brisbine 94 of Brinkerton passed away October 30, 2018. Born February 25, 1924 daughter of the late Alex and Della Baker Porterfield. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by husbands James Yothers, and Homer Brisbine, daughter in law Vivian Yothers and 3 grandchildren. Sara is survived by 5 children Jay Yothers, Judy Lassiter(Jerry), Lee Yothers(Pam), Sam Yothers(Maria), and Tim Yothers, 4 step-children Homer Brisbine Jr. Anna Delvitto(Gary), Caroline Todaro(Mark), and Troy Brisbine(Kim), 20 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Family and friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8pm Sunday November 4, 2018 in the Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home, Norvelt. Funeral service will be held Monday at 11am in the funeral home with Pastor Mark A. Werner officiating. Interment to follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
